DOVER — NAI Norwood Group and Weichert Realtors, Points East Properties, commercial division, announce the leasing of 2,800 square feet of retail space and 4,000 square feet of warehouse space at 21 Fourth St., Dover (the former Holmwood's space). Weichert Realtors, Points East Properties' Julie Porter found the space for the tenant, Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity Inc., and NAI Norwood Group's Brian O'Brien represented the lessor.

The Habitat ReStore is a retail business selling surplus new and used building and home-improvement materials to the general public at 30 to 50 percent off retail. The store's products are 100 percent donated by local businesses and homeowners, so the profits are able to go to SENH Habitat's home-building program. The ReStore, in addition to offering affordable building and home supplies, will also service the community in a unique "green" way by offering local vendors and contractors a way to divert tons of usable, consumable resources out of local landfills and back into circulation. Since Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization, all donations are tax-deductible, as well as green. The grand opening is scheduled for Oct. 3-4. This store will be the only one of its kind in New Hampshire. For more information, contact Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity's Cheryl Van Allen at (603) 433-9555, Julie Porter at (603) 812-0173 or Brian O'Brien at (603) 431-300, ext. 237.
